Exterior lighting – roads and tunnels

Aim

The evaluation of luminances and illuminances in tunnels and on roads is very important for continuously ensuring road safety. By means of the newly developed luminance measuring systems, this can be realised also out of a moving vehicle. Thus, no road- or tunnel-blocking times are necessary any more. The recorded luminance images can then be evaluated in the office by taking various aspects into account. At the same time, the measuring points can be documented at any time by their representation in the image.

Software

With the LMK Roads and Tunnels, a package is supplied for the LMK 2000 software which allows the fast and easy measurement of any road and street lighting. The user can get all luminance parameters necessary for the standard EN 13201-3;2003 by capturing just one single image. The processing of the measuring data is then effected by the software for further evaluation.
